its now the power that makes top speed.
its how it is geared. a stock blaster can probally hit 80. gear it to the moon and after about 5 miles it might hit it. So if you give it a 4 and a half mile head start it just might beat a banshee.

I am just telling you the facts: Banshee beats Blaster everytime! I can't believe someone would even think of posting on here that their Blaster would beat a Banshee. What a joke!

It all depends on traction. My dad was killing me on my 240 blaster, I was on my banshee spinning out till 4th gear....it was wet grass I had no chance, especially with stock tires. My blaster (14/40 gearing stock 13/40) is capable of beating a stock banshee till 6th gear. The banshee has a slightly greater top end, but not much. I clocked my banshee 100% stock at 75mph using a honda cbr600. I still need to clock the blaster, but its probably in the upper 60's. The 240 kit adds more top end, but its main benefits is the extra bottom and mid. Stock blasters have no chance against a banshee. I remember back in the day I would be left a mile down the road. Thats not the case anymore, im right there.

A 240 lbs. rider on a 240 blaster beating banshees and DS650s thats just bull$h!+!!!!
My buddy weighs about 240 and when he rides my blaster I can leave him with no problem. Im 6'4" 200 lbs.

my blaster goes in the range between 60-65. with a bigger carb and porting, it will easily do 70.

Banshee2001,
Number one, my friend weighs 140lbs. That was a typo. Number two, don't call me a liar. I could give a rat's .... about who wins a drag race. I'm not some little punk with a vivid imagination. In fact, it happened at the ATV Connection- Silver Lake Weekend. We were all there to witness it.

I don`t know where you guys come from, but where I live (Belgium) Stock Blasters can easily reach 60-65mph. Maybe that`s because of the High Octane rate sold at our pumps(98)???
But still, a Blaster beating a Banshee???

70+ on a blaster would be scary on a stock swingarm.

Put a +2 axle, swingarm, and a-arms then it would be very smooth
