You know you are going to have to drag your Raptor against your Banshee, that's after you break in your new quad. What kind of modifications do you have on your Banshee? Let us know what the results are. Congratulations on your new quad!

I get mine today. Saw it in the crate yesterday. I am actually getting the Black and White one. I thought for sure I would end up with a blue one.

Does the Pro Design Cool Head make any change in power? I thought of adding one to my Banshee and hopefully stop some of the overheating. So you said the Pro Design Super Cooler really works. Does your Banshee overheat anymore? I also have been looking at some different pipes. How do the FMF pipes help the powerband? How does the power between your Raptor and your Banshee compare? Thanks for the information.

the raptor pull very strong in first + second
but the motor must first be run in.
i think my raptor and my banshee (mods in this thread ) will be a tie.

hi 2001b

the cool head improves bottom-end.
when we ride the other banshees without the
head + supercooler heat up a lot quicker.

Hi Paul,

Just like yourself, I would like to be present at my Yamaha dealer when my Raptor comes in. That seems like an excellent idea. I like the pictures too. I wish you a lot of luck with it. I'm becoming very impatient when I hear that people have received their bikes already.

hi 2001b

i raced my banshee with my raptor (3/4 throttle).
on a rolling start the raptor beats it hands down.
on dirt/grass to 4th gear the raptor win by 2 bike
lenths.
i think i am a better rider than my friend who drove my banshee.
yamaha has done their homework on this one.
