Default shock questions?

Well time has come to widen the front end of the rappy a little (+2" a side) with some ne w a-arms. I know i need to upgrade the shocks and I am looking closly at Works Triple rates with my new a-arms, sound good?

What is the difference between resovoir and non-resovoir shocks apart from a large handfull of cash?

Also what is the best way to go on a-arms without spending a lot of cash?

Well with shocks, you get what you pay for. Works are the cheapest, but thats how they'll perform. Better then stock I guess, but it's worth it to spend the extra money on better ones. I'd buy some triple rated PEP's. I think there around 600 bucks and they come with rezzys.
The rezzys if i understand this correctly, are for injectin my nitrogen into the shock whenever you start to bottom out they will prevent you from doing so. I think thats how it is.

As for a arms, if your not racing you don't need the longtravel ones. Even if you are racing, you don't need them unless your like pro.

Armadillo ones on rockymoutain seem like a fine choice for cheap but good +2 a arms.

hope that helps

+2 with the works is a good setup.. very cheap but man will you notice the difference!!!! Do you have an axle? you should have an axle +2 or +2.5 or your steering will suffer. If i was doing what your doing.. i would save up another 200- or so bucks to get the pep shocks.. available at Magnolia tractor.. ask for bob... those shocks are an absolute inprovement than the works. dont get me wrong.. works are great but peps are better. Other than those brands .. save up money and go for the elkas or axis shocks.. a whole lot of money but extra reliable, and very good too!!!

Works are good, but like Cruz said, elkas, and axis, axis may not be to known but for the pros it is, they will handle like a dream, and about the resovoir, they inject some nitrogen crap, than will help, that's why you see, all the known pros having the resovoir.

Rezzys also aid in cooling to help prevent fade
