Blaster Piston seized Help!

Default Blaster Piston seized Help!

My blaster stopped running. So i took the top end off and found little chunks of what looks to be alluminum. What happened to it? What should i do?

prolly peiceds of the head or your piston! but when u are finding peices of metal in your engine isn't good metal+ piston=BAD

Default Blaster Piston seized Help!

Um.....alright....thanks for your input but i still have no clue of what to do.. Whats the next step i take. IM gonna send it down to my friend who worked on engines like that for years....So he is gonna take it apart..... the cylinder is not scratched as far as i can tell.. what am i looking at buying....should i consider putting a .240 big bore kit in it...

If you can afford it yes. Usually on this you might be good on the lower end and still come out nice. Just the top end may need to be rebuilt but have your buddy inspect everything which if he has been doing it for years then you should be ok.

I like the ride of the z400 but the power of the Raptor. If I could put the motor from the Raptor into the Z400 frame that would be sweet!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

that would be a sweet qaud cause I always ride my friends Z I love the balance and feel of it riding down fast trails is saweet on it.
