Yes the blaster will wreck the z 250...Pff handling the blaster is awesome just because of its short wheelbase doesnt mean it is hard to handle. Its low to the ground which makes it have a very good balance and if you know how to ride one you might figure that out for yourself.

 

Only if the blaster is running 65psi.

 

Yea, the blaster should beat the Z250 in every aspect. Please dont come in here with "your all full of it, because MY Z beat a blaster".... it didnt happen or the kid really is bad at riding, OR he needs a rebuild. .02

well unless you were racing in reverse i woudlnt beleave you. there is no way on earth in he!! or anywhere a z250 would take a blaster.... unless in reverse.

blaster 200cc 2 stroke, z- 250cc 4 stroke do the math.

btw riding you new z in flip flops and shorts, is a good way to get hurt.

being a previous owner of a 2004 Z-250, i would have to say a blaster spanks it. not mine, seeing as how mine isnt even in the same class, but my friends, who has a bone stock 2003 blaster. think about it... 2-stroke vs. 4-stroke... 50 cc's mean nothing in this case.
handling, blasters are lower to the ground, and that has its advantages and its disadvantages... it may not have a lil more ground clearance, but the lower stance keeps the handling good. and if you dont find handling on a stock blaster good, flip the front wheels around. i sold the z-250 about a month after i got it, seeing as i was completely unhappy with the performance of it.
all these comments are from me though, many other people will have their own ideas. just dont listen to that little kid who thinks hes cool just bcuz he has a 2004 z-250... thats all bias based comments

 

My son spanked a z-250. He was just learning to ride too. I tried the z-250 and was not impressed with it. Even though the BLaster is old school, it is still a good bike.
