Default Raptor Rod Failure

Unfortunatley i did not listen to a lot of people on here and thought my conrod would be fine with a 686. Not so,after 26hrs (i have a hourmeter) she let go right through the side of the barrel and cases whilst i was drag racing my friends quads $$$$$$. What a mess it left. I got the bike home and pushed it to the corner of my shed until now( 3 months). I suppose this is a good reason to build up a 730 with the help of craycraft.
Bob reccomends the B&M rod over the carrillo rod, whats every one else using?
