Dyna or Vortex

Default Dyna or Vortex

I need more power and I have money to spend. Which one of these ignitions is better and why? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would get the DYNA ignition. It has tons of featues. Plus, it offers easier starting, something you dont get when you simply replace the CDi with a big gun, or others. it has way to many features for me to go over though.

Get the Vortex. Has 10 different timing curves to choose from, plus a handlebar switch to choose between 2 different ones on the fly. Makes a nice difference.

Is the power going to be the same with both of them, or is one gonna make more power than the other?

Depends on your curve settings. I dont know if you can program the vortex YOURSELF but I do know the Dyna FS you can if you have the kit. Its nice to play around with your curves and the power it gives you is pretty nice....

So the majority says Dyna FS huh? Now, who is the best to get one through?

Sweetquads.com has a good deal on them new...also ebay sometimes has them listed.

Dyna seems to be a good all around unit,.I like mine on my bike, but its a little different then yours. Ritter Cycle carrys a lot of stuff for your bikes, and they are good in their pricing. Good luck.
