Ok, so your saying its best to buy pipes before you get any real motor work done? So what happens when you get your motor built and it doesnt work that great with your current drag pipe set up. You either buy another set of pipes that do work, or you waste power out of your motor.. Either way, your wasting money! In my opinion, 80 percent or better of the people who buy drag pipes either do it cause it looks cool, or they think a small port job justifies them.

Not trying to take credit away from anyone and I know that getting behind in 300 feet is tough to do(heck I lost to a 440 because i slept(well over slept!) at the light, if n I only had 2 more feet LOL : )

It should be fun. Now that guy with 91 HP, whats done to his motor? Alcohol? Aftermarket cylinders?

Cant wait, Im sure Ill choke on them from a few bikes, but my main motivation is too shut down 14 mins!!! No way will I eat them words!!!

Which brings me to this point? I havent been able to get to 14mins site for awhile. Is everything all right, and for sure Aledo is still on?

No Roost I dont believe in getting something that wont benefit you. But the Drag pipes have shown to build hp on even stock bikes. Yes, there are people that buy them just for looks. But not all people buy them just for looks.

if me and my uncle could catch good traction with our ds 800, the yfz 450 would have not had a chance. since we did not have good traction we spun all of 2nd . what i mean by spun all of second is that it didn't go any where's because this was the first time we ran the bike since we got it back from horsepower research. if we had another twenty feet he would have caught the 450. if you watch the video closely, at the 250 mark where the tree is at the ds finally started pulling fast on the 450. For the day I was there we tried to get the right setup, but we didn't get the right set untill 4:00 that afternoon . I guest we were to late . Igive the 450 there they were fast ,but next time the ds will be faster because their is more to come for us Thanks horsepower research for getting a big bike to move like that
