Hope I can make it, would be nice to finally witness some of the top H/P bikes run.
I'll try and keep up, unlike many my wallet has a bottom, not the fastest, but nowhere near slow, it's all fun

Well, I made the trip out to Sicily Island on Saturday, still the same ole' smoooooth drag strip that has been extended to approx 1000' for all of those "HIGH" horsepower bikes....lol. He has posted some updates as far as accomodations on his website. Check it out, it sounds like it could get a little crazy as long as the weather says the same.

I went to Sicily Island and rode Wednesday for the first time and had a blast. The drag strip is awesome - and the vertical hill climbs have a good pucker factor to them. Of course, where I ride there are not many hills so Sicily's may not seem that much to some but to me they were great. I climbed them all. You can ride in sand straight from the parking lot. The riding area is a old gravel operation and is way out in BFE. This place is still pretty new and some of the areas are kinda rough, but was great fun and has plenty of potential. If you have a camper or can borrow one, I would bring it for sure, motels are pretty much out of the question. Also bring in anything you might need, there is not much around there. I saw one tiny store at the end of the road. There is probably plenty of room for haulers and campers, just don't expect any hookups. Once the sun set the mosquitos went nuts, I mean to the point I was swarmed by them. So you might want to bring plenty of OFF and tiki torches(or a camper to retreat to).
