Default O-Ring chain vs. Standard

I need to get new chains. I recently have run O-ring chain since thats what the quads had on them when i bought them. One had a brand new o-ring chain the other was used. They seem to require just as much maintaning as standard. Does anybody here think O-ring chain is worth it in the long run vs. standard chain considering O-ring chain does create more friction in the drivetrain essentially robbing some HP?

Try an X chain. Less drag and better than o ring. Rockymountain has good prices on them.

the standard chins were out quick and strech fast so the o ring is better but i would try the x ring chains they are awsome if have had one on my raptor and it has held up very well and i ride mud sand snow ect

ok lets say you have 40hp to the rear wheels with O-ring and 44hp with standard(have heard of worse cases dealing with o-ring)..... what can one expect with x-ring?

The hp only varies by a hp or 2, i dont think its close to a 4hp differnce. ive seen this kit, that gives you a Chromoly light rear sproket, a X-Ring chain, and a new lighter front sproket, and it together made about 3more hp at the wheels.
