Well that is what I wanted to hear, I own the YFZ but my brother mostly rides it and beats me, I'm a better rider than him but can't keep up, so How much is it going for, I need to show the little one who boss!

True to some extent but as you know...each builder has his own little secrets that they never devulge....if that were not the case then all 686 motors would be the same....every year they get faster and faster...Granted, Craycrafts porting is unique in it's own way....Barker porting is even more unique but twice as much money.

I think CCR is in the 400+ range on porting so that means 800 or so for Barker.... He sure has a lot of expensive stuff to offer, good for people who hate having all of that extra money.
Of course there is always the alternative theory that porting actually hurts performance, but I wont go there.
The advantage of CCR building your engine is you know that it will be put together correctly and no one will be skimping on parts or procedure. You never know when the local guy or your own hands may screw up.

I have one. Bob is great to deal with also.I talked to several builders on the phone when I decided to do mine. Craycraft and Kenz were the only ones who were not pushy and that actually talked to me and answered my questions. I was ASE and Ford master certified (auto) and still went with an engine builder. The parts and machine work connections Builders have are not easily obtained by a regular person not to mention doing the port work correctly.
