Anyone else think its insane the amount of money companies are charging for shocks? I bought edlebrock IAS shocks for my grand cherokee and they only cost 70 bucks a pop, if i wanted the long travel shocks with rezzies they would run around $120, and thats for a 3000+ lb truck. If you price out adjustable elkas with rezzies it runs $1000 bucks for just the fronts, i can get a whole coil over suspenson setup for a car for that much. What gives? ****, even works steelers cost more for the fronts alone then my whole truck did.

 

Yeah it is kinda BS I guess. They do charge alot.

 

i know really! One rear shock from Works (which is the cheepest) is 450$!! get the Fu*K out of here!!

 

Yeah, I want to put some aftermarket shocks on my bike, but it would cost almost over a grand. I don't have that kind of money.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

For the price of a complete Elka system for a Raptor....you could buy about any kind of suspension lift kit for a truck.



I just don't understand it. But I am going with Marvin Shaw Shocks'...around $500 for all three shocks.

It is BS. But as long as everyone keeps paying it the prices are only gonna go up higher.
