Default Rappy Woes

I have a couple of issues with my Raptor I was hoping you all could assist me with. It's a 2003 Raptor 660r

First off I did an oil change a couple of weeks back. I can't seem to get the darned oil level correct. At first it was ok. Then I ran it and it was low. I then filled it to the proper amount. Now it's way high.

Secondly my battery keep dying. I bought a new one in hopes that it would cure it but it still dies. I can charge it the night before a ride, and it will hold the charge almost the whole day if I don't use the lights.

Thanks in advance

i still have my original battery. When you ride it should automaticly charge its self.... maybee not when the lights are on. And my oil level is way above the dipstick's full mark too, too much cant hurt it. good luck, nice quad

Too much oil IS a bad thing. If the oil has nowhere to go, it will load up the top end and ruin your valves. As far as level, a little less than 2 quarts should fill it after an oil change. This includes changing the filter. Thanks.
