is the banshee better than the 450R because im wanting to buy a new bike just to ride rodes and some trails not going to the dunes or anything. Sometimes though i want to kick it in the *** and go which do you think would be better for that kind of stuff or do you suggest and completely different bike????

id say get the 450r because its not as much maintences its awsome on trails and its got enuff go that when u kick it in the aZZ u will b goin! as to other bikes the 450's(hondas and yamahas) they are top of the line u dont get much better i liek to think of the 450r as the woods version of the yfz 450 soo yeah i deff say go w/ the 450R!

I'd say go with a Banshee!!! With the extra money you save from buying those expensive 4 spokes, put some pipes and modify your air box. I have a Banshee and rides lots of trails and have no complains. I can hank with all the 4 spokes around and actually i'm always in front so....

If you like 2 strokes go with a banshee,if you like 4 strokes go for a 450.both are fast. One thing i noticed ESPECIALLY in the raptors and ds650's is that they seem to be WAY WAY taller than old lt250's and banshees.at least they look that way

If you want to endlessly modify and have endless hp potential the banshee is the way to go. If you just a casual rider test drive each and see what you like the best.

Although I have never ridden a 450R, I've ridden 'Shee's in alot of trails and had a blast. I don't know if it's just my riding style or what, but as much as people dog them(in tose situations) I have to think that I'm missing something, but I would take it over most bikes for just cruising around trails, open fields, etc. However if you are into really technical trails it may not be the bike of choice. Also, how comfortable are you with performing maintenence? Both bikes need regualr maintnence, but the Banshee requires a little more. Good luck with whatever you do.
