I got this cam and i got some footage off of it and it saved as an .asf(only format) i try to improt it into Windows Movie Maker and i get this The file C:\Documents and Settings\Speedy\My Documents\My Videos\Cocovs RX car 1.asf is not indexed and cannot be imported. neideas?>?

 

Don't you use windows movie maker to capture the video from your camera? Have a video card? Usb device (ie Pinaccle Lynx) to capture the video from your camera either with windows movie maker or other program?

You can also get a video converter to convert from one format to another. You'll need to convert the .asf file to a supported format for the windows movie maker such as .wmv .avi etc.

There might be some free ones on the web somewhere but here is one that came up in a search I just did.
