I would wait until the stockers where out or you get in a postion where you know the tires are at fault. Why spend money if you do not have to?

I'm waiting for the stockers to wear out before I buy mud bugs or lites. I can't justify getting rid of perfectly good tires, besides the trade in would kill me. (My wife would kill me too).

you could always just buy a rim/tire combo,,,,and sell the stockers as a set on ebay to offset the price of the new ones
