Just when you think we've talked about raptor pipes all we can, a new set comes out that is supposed to blow sparks, CT, and LTE away. Craycraft has evolved from a personal shop working on his friends machines to a well respected raptor engine builder. There are always new and exciting things happening in the sport and certainly no shortage of new topics to cover. So if you fellas think that your time is best spent arguing whether a stock or piped blaster will beat a stock or piped warrior then be my guest. I personally would like to spend my time in more meaningful endeavours. The problem becomes that with all of these frivolous posts comparing old machines and other repetitive threads it becomes harder for people with real problems or questions to get them answered. Their threads get lost in the useless clutter that occupies the front pages of the yamaha forum.

If you look at my posts I offer help to people who have legitimate and specific quesitons. Most of the time in pipe threads I ask the thread author to find out what he wants from a pipe and to use the already posted information to narrow down choices. If you come in asking what the best pipe is for your 400ex you are really just wasting time, space, bandwidth, etc. Granted you can ignore these posts, but at some point they become so prominent that they overwhelm the good forum content. By telling people to search I hope to lessen that overload of repetitive crap.

But this thread is about something completely different, the best forum members of the year. So lets get back to that shall we? This is another thing the forum needs to try to avoid, its common courtesy. Any other arguments should be routed into another thread or via pm so as not to crap any further in 14mins' post.

Whats it take to type something out, even if it is just a quick response, something to get the person going in the right direction, curiosity will kick in and they will want to know more, and search. Thats what i dislike most about this forum, i guess for the older memeber it becomes a chore typing the same answer to the same question for however long you been on this site. I try to help out, i know my experience and knowledge about this sport is nowhere near some of the older members, but i do what i can because i dislike the way some questions and memebers get treated. Thats my 2 cents. VelociRaptor350
You're so right. I'd much rather have 15 new "this VS that" threads" every day and another dozen asking which the best pipe is for a kawisukicat, 400ex, or yfz.
well u responding to every thread like that really doesnt help make it go away.
Not sure why that response was needed?? If matters are not addressed people are still looking for answers. Just a heads up....the search feature actually works quite well here on the 'connection, so more than likely a common topic will reveal much more info that a new topic. All topics are welcome though.

Those threads RapFam put up were started by someone who races, Howards Stern, so he can gloat all he wants. Thats the difference.

Anyway...

Roost I understand your point of view totally, you don't like how 14mins takes shots at Kenz, and he will at any attempt possible (he is a craycraft customer just like Howardstern is)... just the way howardstern takes shots of Craycraft (he was not even on that trip, heard just a little of the story and started gloating and bashing craycraft)

They are both customers
(I have no clue how fast 14mins stock bore is but howard's stock bore is putting out something like 64hp!!! that is awesome, most 690's and some 727's don't even put those numbers out???) Just because it is a stock bore doesn't mean it isn't fast (I always give the benefit of the doubt, beacause what if that person calls you out and hands you your a$$???) I like to stay safe than sorry???

do you got what i'm saying?

Back to the subject. Raptor660fam gets the top award from me for his videos and taking the smack talk with stride. He does not mind posting vids of him loosing either. I have NEVER seen anyone else do that.
14mins gets the top (stir the pot award) he speaks his mind and that is his right as an United States citizen. We should all the thankfull for that right. Sixsixt get the top advice award he has given the same advice over and over to those that can't use the search function and willing to help all. I also read other forums and there are similar types there to. The internet is a great way to form an opinion based on others.
