Default Raptor 350: Best upgrades for the $

Need advice:

Have a '04 Raptor 350 with: Open airbox, rejetted, stock pipe without silencer. Looking for more bottom end. I've heard that a pipe and cam will make a difference. I've heard that the stock header is already good, so don't bother.

Please give me some feedback on what works and specific product names (Hot Cams/Stage 1, etc.).

Looking for more bark, but don't want to spend a lot or reduce reliability.

Thanks.

Just to add: Would going down one tooth on the front sprocket make a huge difference on the bottom end? If so, I'm fine with losing a little top end.

Thanks.

A pipe will help out, cams build the midrange up. Dropping a tooth in the front would help get the bike moving faster, you would be riding in 3rd where your usually in 2nd for example. My HMF pipe really woke up my bike, the stock slip on blows IMO. Running a better filter will help alot as well, stick to foam, the replacement k&n's suck.

Wait, you said you dont have the silencer on?!? try putting it back! Get a Slip-On muffler, Pro-Flow K&N Kit, and re-jet. if you want even more, get an 11:1 piston and a hotcam.
