wont start

Default wont start

I was trail riding my YFZ450 and fall off a five foot drop off landed on the front bumper. It died and I cant get it to start by the push botton it turns over that is it. If I pull start it, it starts right up no problem. So please help me THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

check everything electrical.. mighta done soemthing with to one of the wires..

Check the wires going to the starter like speedy said, you must have knocked something loose.

he means a bump start most likely, you know, roll it and pop the clutch.

bump is also called pull or push start....

There is a diode in the electric start system. If it craps, you can bump start you bike but no pusher button. it retails for $7.31 at your dealer. I've seen this numerous times. Bill

Nothing happen to you?
A hard hit like that can wreck a battery. It can have enough grunt to spin the motor, but not have enough left over for ignition.
Have the battery load tested.
