That trail tech speedo is a piece O crap. I have one and ITS NOT reliable at all.
I have measured the top speed of my STOCK Rappy with my Garmin GPS and it topped out at 74mph on a level paved road.

my 2cents....using gps on a dry lakebed (El Mirage, California) flat and long (miles long), wind?, tire pressure? (6 lbs maybe), guts...well reaching for another gear but ran out, I was able to do 80 mph but.....I did have it piped, jetted, airboxed, and 1 tooth larger front sproket. I since changed back to original front sprocket, I did start to notice the shakes a little so I should have checked the tire pressure and add some maybe?
