I wanna throw some tires on my stock rims. My rear stocks have like 2-3 plugs in each tire. I ride mostly trail and through fields and what not. Ill probably leave my fronts alone unless prompted otherwise. Anyways stock is 22-7-10front and 22-10-9rear. The reason for the new tires is that the tires I have now are awesome but I want something a little lighter. They are 6ply. So anyways what brand and what size. I have +2 a-arms and +2-+4 rear axel coming in feb. And Im ordering works shocks all around if that will help at all. And 12t front sprocket

 

Personally I would gear up a tooth or two and put some 20's on the back. Something like a Razr or Holeshot.

so 20 inch holeshots in the back. keep front the same. And which holeshots... xc or whatever the others are. should I go with 20-11-9 or does it have to be the same as stock which is 10(22-10-9) Tire width Im guessing

ITP all the way. I love them holeshots myself. I have never gotten a hole in my tires yet and I ride hard and on a ton of different surfaces

 

So leavin the stock fronts are ok. the 22's

 

if your going to get a 20 inch back tire you probably should get a smaller front tire accordingly. personally id go with the 20-11-9 kenda klaw XCR or the Maxxis razr

 

the first number is the tire diamter, the second number is width and the third and most important is the rim size. as long as you get a 9 inch tire you will be fine. but make sure you have the clearnce if you want to get anthing bigger than a 22-11-9

 

Id go with the 20 inch rear holeshot XCR's and 21 inch Holeshot Tires for the front.
