Does the Raptor feel good or what? I have to go out to the garage to sit on it about every hour. My Banshee is parked right next to it and the more I see them side by side, the more I like the Raptor. Very millenium with it's curves. The Banshee really needs a facelift, now that the Raptor is here. Hopefully Yamaha will give the Banshee a second generation facelift and improve the suspension, styling and ergonomics to resemble the Raptor. And while they are at it, improve the airbox and other nit-picks.

The Banshee still rocks, but the Raptor is very, very well designed.

 

Overall I think it's very impressive and Yamaha will receive an A in my course. Good luck to all with their Raptors, because mine is worth every penny. I was very lucky to get one because I wasn't even on the list. I was in the right place at the right time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I agree, I hopped back on my MOD Polaris 400 I had been riding today (which I was very happy with) and thought, whats up? its funny the way I sit on this thing. It never bothered me until I was spoiled by my raptor. No going back now! the sport is the girlfreind's ride now. The raptor fits like a glove.

 

Yea, I've said the same thing. I've rode my 400ex one time since I've got the Raptor. I'll never get back on it. I know a lot people in this forum are critical of making an evaluation like this after only a few rides but.....if you have been having sex with some big heefer then get to sleep with Penelope Cruz.....how long does it take to realize which one is better.
