What's the best exhaust for my 04 yfz 450. I don't want a slip on, and price doesn't matter. Which gives the best bottom end? Top end? Overall?

yeah Sparks and Yosh would be the two i'd most likely go with all pipes mentioned are good, I'm not so sure if i'd want the ESR because they just started making 4 stroke parts and might not have the performance of long time 4 stroke companies like Sparks and Yosh.

Why don't you want a slip on?
I have yet to see any dyno numbers to prove that a full system gives you any more power?

The DR D is a slip on, but in my experience, does as good a job as any out there (better than most too). The stock head pipe is actually pretty dang good!

If someone can show me some head to head comparisons of full systems vs the DR D slip on, Id like to see them.

As a bonus, the DR D is also pretty dang quiet.

A place I know of will get you a smoking price on one too.

Your right, They headpipe is made of some better material than previous headers (e.g. Raptor, Warrior) I'm not sure what its made of but def not the common stuff you see.

HMF has dynos (somewhat) that show their Full System does better than there slip-on. One of the main reasons is because they were made for each other.

In a Head to Head comparision e.g DRD vs. Sparks or Yoshi. DRD would be spanked. You can't really compare a silencer that was adapted to a head pipe or a silencer that had a head pipe speicifcally made for it.
^^IMO^^

I would like to see those Dyno runs, and preferably by an independent source.
The DR. D is putting out ~ 47 H.P. to the rear wheels, and this is just with it being a slip on. I have heard of others putting out 48 HP max. (Jardine), but that mother is LOUD! Too loud for many of the dune areas.
