Has anyone seen the posting on Ebay for the raptor exhaust that is homemade. Well, I ordered it up because the cost was cheap and I thought i couldn't lose. When I got the pipe I realized how simple it was , There is no spark arrester on it and it is just o hollow pipe with some packing in it. I was wondering if the pipe could cause any damage to my machine.

 

You won't get any damage. The only way to get damage is running with open heads.

How does that pipe work? It looks like a glass pack modified to fit on an ATV. I am curious. That's the basic design of all of the other pipes on the market, you just don't get the fit and finish.

I bet that its a top end pipe. So, you may need to go way up on the mains and open up the air box to feel its power.

 

Was it the pipe for 70$??

my fiend took his stock yfz pipe n hoolowed it out n took the baffle out......really helped but no where near my gtyr

 

It probably was the pipe for $70. Ive seen it on there a few times so whoever is selling them makes quite a few

 

The pipe sounds awsome, but I hven't got the carb setup completely done right yet. How I have it setup right now I have tremendous bottom end.
