Mountains on a raptor
I enjoy riding on rough trails that are more for 4 wheelers, on my raptor. The problem I have is with ground clearance in the rear end.
I was planning on buying some 25 or 26 inch tires so I can get more clearance out back. If I do this I'll also place wheelspacers all around. My questions are what type of tire should I buy (terrain is rocky, mountain, muddy, forrested),and what size sprocket I should go to for the front and rear. Need the help.

I would get some GBC GATORS BIG LUGS SPACED FAR APART + THER JUST 53$ THATS A STEAL AND FOR GEARING IF YOUR NOT WORRIED about top end change the front to a 12 tooth to get the verry most out of the bottom. http://www.rockymountainatv.com/Prod...v?pid=00017593

The terrain you are describing and the size of tires you want are for a utility, I don't think they make 25" for a sport quad, the highest I think is 22", correct me if I'm wrong. And since you wont be reaching your top speed in rough terrain, I would say go 12 on the front sprocket for more push in the start. The tires I would highly recommend are the ITP Holeshot XCT, the have a 6 ply rating to resist more punctures, and they are 22".

yeah they dont make 25 inch tires for asport quads but i can get most mud tires in a 22 inch to fit your quad lik the gators do a search on best mudd tire then look it up n many different atv stores and see what sizes they have r order derectly from the company and if your worried about ground clearence a cheeper way would just get some nice think armor underneath the beast

It doesnt matter if they make 25" or whatever size for sport quads, you can still put them on.
The problem is that the raptor cant take larger than a 22" tire without removing heel guards and even that only gives you limited clearance. You will need a longer swingarm if you go real big on the rears.
