wolverine jetting questions
I've got mine set up almost identical to Wolverinerider and we have similar setups...147.5 main jet, stock needle position (mine was 3rd groove from the top, I made a note of it). I tried lowering my needle clip to the 4th groove from the top and mine was way too rich. I still have the stock pilot jet, but I'm going to try going 1 bigger. I have to run my pilot screw out approx. 4 turns, which is probably a bit much.
Adjust on the pilot screw till it feels good from the 0 - 1/4 throttle transition.
I would suspect your setup should be somewhere close, depending on altitude, temp, etc. Put in a clean plug and do the "throttle chop" plug checks to make sure you are not too lean! Being Rich was pretty obvious for me, a lean condition was harder for me to tell.
If you're unsure about the plug checks, do a search. There is some really good info on here if you have the time to dig through the search hits.

With your mods, you will need to jump up the main jet for sure and possibly raise the needle some It takes a while to tune your carb, but once you do......... play time

I have a 155 main , stock piolet, idle mix screw is about 3 turns out, and needle in mid groove. 150 jet, needle raised to bottom groove and a hard run----plug was white!!! way too lean!! k&n filter - drilled slide in carb - torque stuffer - 4"hole cut into air box lid, have snap in cover for when in mudd-stock muffler(with trick) cut bottom out of housing in long u (___) shape with plasma cutter, only two chambers with a divider plate, 1/2"hole.... make hole 3/4" and add 2 more 3/4" holes... tube that spsrk arrestor slides into has only 2 holes made 4 more.... lots of flow. weld bottom back in place. looks stock- cost $50.
