Default programmable ignition system

I have a programmable ignition system from dynatek(dyna fs).
There is a cable "Tach Output ". For which measurement is it? HP/RPM/speed???
What they mean:"of rev limits tach" / "of RPM switch outputs" / "shift/tether kill input" / " launch limiter"
My english is not so good because of this I place stupid ask.
Thanks for your answer!!!

Rev Limit = Maximum allowed Engine RPM.
Tach = tachometer = engine RPM gauge
Tach output is a wire that you connect to a tachometer, to see the engine RPM

You still need the Dyna FS programming software?
