This hasn't been brought up i na long time but was wondering if anyone is using them?

 

i think they are a waste of money, they are something like 250 per tire. unless you race and cant afford a popped tire, then a can of fix-a-flat will do for awhile. iv'e had fix-a-flat in one of my tires for a few months now.

 

Hell yea to the fix-a-flat ive had it in my front tire for over a year. If you get a hole just jam a **** load of plugs into the tire, coat it in rubber cement and light it on fire tell it melts all together on the rubber and let it dry for an hour or 2.

 

Hahaha I haven't gone that far with it yet. I've used the Green Slime stuff and it worked goood. Until my 300lb uncle rode the quad [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] Anyways, they seem a LOT of money to me, but would be cool to have if given to me [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

The plug trick I mentioned really works well; I have plugs over a year and a half old using that method still holding strong. Tire tubes work good too O_o

Nice but sometimes those ***** get you in trouble, i got a dirtwheels that did a shootout between a regular tires and tire balled tires, they said it made the landings smoother and your could take more agressive lines without worrying about blowouts, after the short race they rider with the ***** has a hole in one of his fronts and that would have ended the race for him right there. Its ALOT of money but if your going to be into racing you should look into them.

 

Can someone explain to me what you guys are talking about? It's apparently something that keeps you from blowing a tire or getting flats, but what is it exactly? Thanks.

they're balsl that go into your tires to keep them from going flat when they have a puncture i beleive
