Ya it sucks you have it jetted all nice then the **** changes and u start to lose power ! Many people believe that just cause things say + 5HP here and + 3HP there that you just add the HP of all your mods up and that’s your total lol; that’s not how it works (wish it did work like that though) - you gain some but you lose some. I mean hell I have over 30 stickers so at 1 HP per sticker that = 30HP right there; ****...

hmmm... I can say **** but I cant say **** o O (curious)

Rider1169 are you copying my name? how do you like the 14 tooth sprocket? is your bike a little slower off the line? I am trying to decide between a 12 tooth and a 14 tooth. Does your top end seem faster. Oh and as for the dyno testing, I have a hard time believing all the numbers these companies throw out there too.....however I do know that by My seat of the pants dyno, my alba pipe is a big improvement over stock...

Hey thanx guy's for the input. But what about the CT Sonic. I know it's 3 year'ss late, But I just saw the the DirtWheels 2002 april edition of the Raptor Pipe Shootout and found that the CT Sonic took that Test, although that was almost 3 years ago. Wondering how the LRD stands up to the CT, because they didnt have a spark arrestor then and wasn't included in the test. So what would you say about

CT Sonic vs LRD Pro 4

Remember the CT Sonic took the test in April 2002, but the LRD at that time didn't have a spark arrestor which excluded them in the test at that time, But now they do. So what do you say or think would be the better pipe for off the throttle speed and power throughout the powerband.

Here is the result for the CT Sonic - HP @ / SOUND/ WEIGHT / PRICE
- 32.6HP - 48.6HP @7100rpm/103db / 11.25lb / $589

Damn! 139db! LOL! I never heard of a pipe that loud man, seriously someone tell me if this is true. And I forgot to mention there is also the Baker pipes, which are dual, that are said to offer better performance than the LTE. Here's a list IMO:

CT
Sparks
Yoshi Pro Serious (not to loud)
Bakers maybe...

They are not in order of preference, all these will outperform HMF.

I have not seen any dyno test that compare the Bakers to the LTE's although i have seen people say good things about both. I dont know if i have seen anybody who has persoanlly tried both to say that the bakers outperform LTE, i would be interested to know.
As for all of those systems outperforming HMF, i dont know what the rated HP increase is for all those systems but arent they $100 or more also, you can put that $100 in another mod like a cam or rev-box and the total hp gain would be more than just those other pipes, yes? no? What do you think.
JMO

Well like you, I have just heard from people on the forums, don't really know, as for HMF being cheaper it's true, as for a cam, in my brain I have no more than 3HP, as well as the rev-box, I know the rev-box will raise your RPM"s higher and will give you some gains.
