Default For my 1st quad: Griz 660 or Sus King Quad 700?

I'm new to this forum, and to quads. I have been shopping on the internet for one. I really like the grizzly 660, but I don't want to get stuck on that one if there is a betther one out there. I will be using the quad for scouting and hunting. What should I do?

Hey,

I've been riding quads for just over a year and just bought my first one almost two months ago. I got the grizz 660 and have been very happy with it. I also did a bunch of research online and on ATV forums before buying. I'm sure others will tell you that it's a good machine.

I'll keep that in mind. Like I said, I haven't made my mind up. I will probably buy in March. What Honda do you recommend?

I wouldn't recommend a Honda to anyone unless you are getting the kids quad. All I see from Honda is overpriced quads with half the features of the competition...but that's just MY opinion.

If you live somewhere where you think EFI is needed, then I would say definately get the KQ 700. Have you been shopping around? I was quoted just about the same out the door price for a Grizz 660 and a KQ 700. If that's the case, I would definately get the KQ.

What yr Grizzly was it? $3k in repairs? What problems did he have?

I would go with the Grizzly. The KQ is having tranny problems. Everyone I know with a Grizzly loves them. If you re not in a hurry Yamaha is supposedly coming out with a bigger Grizzly in the next couple of months.

I have heard pretty good things about Both of the quads in questions. I'm really not sure about the lingo with quads yet. What is EFI? You are right, the King Qaud and the 660 are the exact same price standard. Being that they are both good quads, I was looking for information that would set one apart from the other. Is there a website that would show quads head to head on several performance tests? The only fault I have found so far with the KQ is that the plastic around the footpeg. It seems flimsy.

If your wanting a quad for hunting i also reccomend Honda,we had a grizzly and it was loud and to big for the trails, my mothers BF now has a Honda Rubicon and loves it for hunting and scouting, its quiet, 4 x4 and no problems and good reliability

Every body is beating honda in sports but i think they still have the utility pretty darn good
