UPDATE : waiting on that f!cking CDI box to come in but I made a deal w/ the dealer, $1300 back in cash and no sales tax and the banshee for my kodiak , ita a 87 but its all tricked out. I will know next week !

lol well i had a durastic change in plan last night and might not have a quad at all, a guy will trade me his realy nice puickup for it , just might have to do it !

uhhhh not to be smart, but how old are you man??? i'm just saying wait till you get your driver's license then you won't be saying that, cause i used to say the same thing when i was younger, but since i can drive around and party and go find some ladies [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] the quad isn't too important to me like it once used to be.

yeah you can find some older banshees dirt cheap, i found a 92 with mods on it for 2000 and the Yamaha dealer had a 1998 modded to hell like you said for 2200, i don't know how banshees go for resale value, but in the 250R world a bone stock R pays more than most modded ones do these days, i got a steal on mine, paid 3000 cash for it when it could've been sold for 7 or 8 grand, when i see bone stock or ones with only a pipe and filter for 5 or 6 thousand bucks. i'll be getting a banshee soon, hopefully i can find a modded one again, instead of getting a brand new one cause i'm also going to try to get a 4wd again.

 

ia m getting a 1996 banshee for 600 bucks, all it needs, runs too, really well, it just need new tires and bearings/bushings up front and its good to go, and its in near mint shape,

 

man you're lucky, i wish i could find a deal like that, tires, bearings/bushings is nothing

 

oh i forgot to add it also has a new tranny, re built engine with pro design heads, and an ldr exhaust, the guys just wants to sell it for what he has in it,the bike is kinda at a pawn/rebuild shop, so i hope in a week or two its ours
