I took my heel guards off and made some brackets out of 1 inch flat metal....i bent them in an L shape and drilled some holes to attach the fender and attach them to the frame, and i drilled a hole in the right bracket to mount the brake reservoir...the only thing i dont like is that my plastic guard for the reservoir will not attach .....I like the way it looks better without the heel guards

yeah your platic is going to flop aroudn, go dwon to home depot and pick up some "L Brackets" and custom fab them on their, that is the only way too do. Good job on dumping those heel guards i had to dump mine to run 22" haulers, they dont fit.

try not to slip you foot off the peg and run your foot over it really hurts....i would know.
