Anyways My Mom is buying a blaster so she can watch me and my little brother when we go riding. So i was wondering what good cheap mods are there for it???? Like maybe they make a re-jetting kit or something???

The first thing you want to do is get better tires those bubble tires suck. Then you really want to try and get an air filter, jet kit, and pipe at the same time.

 

yeah those stock tires suck Ba!!z. get rid of those and get holeshots or Razr 2s. as for cheap mods look into pipes and jet kits. i dont know any good two stroke pipes but a lot of people do.

 

get a set of Razr 2's, full FMF pipes, K@N filter, and Jet kit

 

Dont forget the precharger for that K&N X_X!

 

Well if you guys see the title "Free mods". Hes asking what are some things to do to my blaster that are FREE..

Well..

1. Cut those front fenders
2. take off the metal heel guards and the plastic guard that protects them
3. Polish everything that a magnet cant stick to ie: thumb throttle cover, sidecase of engine (where it says yamaha)



<u>Mods that help performance</u>
-pipe (LRD or graydon is a very good choice) *dont forget to rejet!*
-reeds (G3's are the best you can get www.1dirracing.com)
-porting (I recommend Hollywood Dirt Productions)
- Have your carb bored to 28 mm from HWD
-Have your flywheel lightened from HWD

<u>Stability mods</u>
-LSR Axle (Can get from HWD for $340 shipped)
-Burgard A-Arms
-Shocks (Works for the low budget) or even banshee fronts and 400ex rear with minor modifications
-Extended swingarm (+3 is a good choice)
-Nerf bars (AC is a good choice) It protects your feet and keeps from other quads running into you and also keeps your feet in place

And thats just some of the MANY mods you can do for your bike.

The fronts, same effect as race cutting except you don't have to cut the fenders so you can put them back on if you choose.
