What's the best advice for removing and installing new handgrips?

Default What's the best advice for removing and installing new handgrips?

Has the right idea. I have used golf tape on my Motorcycle and ATV grips for years. Apply tte tape. Pour on a little lighter fluid and slide on the grip. Lighter fluid evaporates tape gets sticky and the grips hold forever until you want them to come off.

Just dont buy scott gripp glue i put a crap load on my bars and put the grips on and it didnt even last 2 trips and the grips were loose i even kept the bars inside were its warm because on the glue package it said it needed to be 60 deg or something like that and it was bout 25 outside. anyways the glue was just a big no go a wasted 5 bucks.
u put the grips on without putting the throttle, clutch, front brake, run switch ***. on the handlebars??? Amazing hahaha lol

yea but that glue doesn't work for shiz my grips still turn after a couple months!!
