Default blaster replacement shocks

anyone know the best shocks to replace the stock ones on a blaster. ive heard of people replacing them with 400ex or banshee shocks but i wasnt sure. also, wat machining will i have to do and does any1 know a site that explains replacing them in detail for both the front and rear shocks.

YFZ shocks will not work. They are 16 inch and will not work un-less you are running long travel a-arms.
A 400ex shock will work in the rear but requires some modifications. Banshee shocks are a cheep replacment for the fronts but are a bit longer and are a tight squeeze. Some say it puts added stress on the spindles...who knows.

Do a search man, this topic has been beat to death in the last month or so.
