I AM FINALLY GOING SOMEWHERE WITH MY LIFE!!

I have finally decided what I want to do with my life for a career!!! I was going to college but it sucked and I am more of a hands on type of guy ya know. So I decided to go to Orlando to MMI (UTI'S motorcycle devision) has anyone else went to school there? did you like it? did you get a good job afterwards?

hey badazz sorry dont know anything about the motorcycle school...i was just looking at some of the stuff u have done to your quad and saw 12/40 gearing...how has that help with your rap? has it improved low and mid end power or more top end? thks

yeah I know, I met with the UTI guy today I am going probably to the orlando campus in january of 2006. when are you goin man? can't wait to live in florida!!

Rockinfigs, the 12/40 gearing makes the rap quicker...1st gear is real short but it is easier to shift while you wheelie, you lose some top end but honestly do you really need to be going 75 MPH all the time.....me personally I spend most my time riding in midrange like in 2nd through 4th gear

i thought about it to get a degree to open my own shop, but as for now being a machinist is an awesome job, too me anyhow, i know a good bit about working on these things, but i was going to get certified for it, and that's where my parts shop owner went to and he told me it's a great school and it's not hard to get in, later on in life i'm thinking of going there, so after years of working for someone, i will be able to open up my own machine shop and atv/motocycle repair, i also thought of starting my own company and making products of my own design to sell once i get a few CNC machines in my shop
i've been told it's a great school and it's also a great career if you are devoted to fixing bikes, motorcycles, and atv's

I'm thinking of going to. I really love fixing bikes(well, it's a love-hate relationship) and would love to open my own business. In fact my buddy is going to college next fall and taking several business management classes, and he wants me to go in on a business with him(me doing the actual work ) Keep us updated on that. How much does it cost anyway?

Yeah I want to eventually start my own shop too... and I also have a couple buddies actually that are majoring in business... funny how so many people think of the same things...Well the program I am taking is 69 weeks I am going to be in the Yamaha, honda and probably the kawasaki programs it will cost about 20 thousand plus the cost of living...but they help find a part-time job while you are there and help you find an apartment and roommate if you want one. If you have around a 3.5 grade average most dealers will help pay for your education that you already took...and they have lots of different loans and things to help ya out.
