Power for a banshee
#1
Hi fellows,
I got a 98 banshee, with aftermarket pipes and silencers (I can't find the name of those), and the jetting has been changed to fit the new pipes. And that's it.
I want more power.
From anyone's experience, what's the best modification(s) I can do to make my machine rock ?
Saying that in a simplistic way, it would be, "I want the cheapest, most powerful, and most reliable kit".
Can anyone help?

SaMsOn is right on the money. I would recommend Boyesen Power reeds unless you want to change the entire reed cage. Then I would suggest V-Force Delta 2 reeds. Shaving the head is probably the most cost effective (around $85) but be careful who does the shaving. I went with the Pro Design Cool Heads (over $200) but I wanted the additional cooling capacity to match my Super Cooler radiator. Also, you might want to invest $25 in degree key from Vito's racing. It advances your timing 4 degrees. The dynos that I have seen indicate that the key adds about 2 to 3 horsepower at the rear wheels.
