Which air filter should i get?

I would recommend the Pro-flow with K&N. If you tend to ride alot in very dusty conditions, I recommend the outwear (prefilter) as you won't have to recharge your filter as often.
Some will tell you that a foam filter (like UNI) will perform as well as a cotton guaze (K&N), but that is completely false. Of the three types of air filters (paper, oil treated foam, and oil treated cotton gauze), foam has the most restricted air flow while cotton guaze has the least restricted flow. Concerning filtering (based on particle restriction and air flow maintenance as filter get dirty), paper filters the worst, then foam, and cotton guaze the best.
For those who will undoubtedly want to argue against me (there seem to be so many UNI loyal riders), here is a third person research study, comparing the abilities of the three types of filters using name-brand examples.

Ok.. so I am basicly going to get the Pro Flow kit with the K & N air filter. I was just wondering how much the Prefilter is and what it would do. How many time would i have to recharge my k & N without it?

if u buy the pro design kit..it comes with the billet adaptor, K&N filter and a outwear pre filter cover. i highly recommend u use one ..its just extra protection. if u dont u r going to clean your filter more often.

with the pro flow(pro design) kit u get a billet adaptor u can mount to your air box and screw on a k&N filter. with this kit u will be able to remove the air box lid completely and not have it on. if u just get a k&n and pre filter thats fine also but u mount the filter to your stock location which needs the air box lid to hold in place. plus the pro design uses a bigger k&n (well atleast with my raptor).
