i have a 01 banshee and i want a 4 stoke so is a ds 650 faster than a banshee and is it worth geting

 

stock for stock yea the ds650 is faster also has better suspension, handling, engine, reliability... depends what you are into...if its just drags the banshee mods better but other than that i would get a ds.

 

what kind of riding will u be doing?

 

motor cross mostly but i have to go down a railroad bed a ways to get there fast

 

ide rather have the ds suspension and power for that any day rather than a banshee.

 

Go with the DS650. That sounds better for you, they are fast enough stock, so that shouldnt be a problem.

 

well the DS is faster, but you want a 4 stroke, now see for me i'd stay with the banshee cause i like the thrill of a 2 stroke's powerband

 

I guess you guys just forgot to mention that the ds weighs almost a hundred pounds more than a banshee

 

i got he chance to ride a DS650 with a 760bore/stroker kit... man are they TANKS the cadillacs of quads... just watch out for it tipping over in tight corners

 

You say mostly mx? Why not go with the yfz 450? Stock it is suppose to be the best. I rode with a ds 650 before and sorry but I wouldn't trade you a pack of gum for it. Weight comes in handy on utes but a sport quad it is only a draw back. We spent more time pushing and pull that rock than riding. In fact I told my buddies that if that quad was ever going again DON'T call me to come. Not bashing just a fact.

It could fly on the roads, I'll give it that.
