Has anyone else had problems with the front rims bending? My brother just got a 2000 Banshee and while riding the other day, we crossed a ditch. We each went across it at an angle. The ditch was wide with a rounded bottom. He was only going about 25-30 mph. When he got on the bank on the other side he noticed the front right wheel wobbling. After a closer look, we saw that the rim was bent. Are those aluminum rims that weak or does that sound like a defective rim? Is this something Yamaha would stand behind? That's probably a stupid question. Thanks.

My 96 rims aren't bent. So I would say it's defective. 30 seems awefull fast for a ditch though! Have fun and be safe!

Later,

This was a very gradually sloping ditch.
