i just got my raptor put back together from a landa one way and ricky stator
it has developed a new problem though

i tried starting it and after a few turnovers the battery started smoking from the positive terminal

i then got another battery and it wouldnt do anything
the lights come on but the starter motor wont turn at all

i checked the two fuses but they are okay

the starter motor did get very hot but it wont turn

WTF!?!?! what is wrong now

is that the sign that the starter motor is gone now

i dunno but please help

Check your ground.Make sure it is clean and tight on both ends the engine and battery. The starter realy may have burnt out (common problem). Loose or dirty connections anywhere battery/starter/switches/grounds cause high resistance and overload components.

 

Thanks! Will it click even if the relay is bad.
It makes a clicking noise but does not move (starter).
