I duno man, i meen i know a blaster is different than what me and all my friends have, but a good friend has a 97 YZ125 and that thing will not keep up with any of our quads. Plenty of low end power for a 2 stroke but when it comes to drag racin the bike gets smoked.

yep, but the 240 kit itself doesn't really get you a whole lot more h.p., mainly just an increase in torque.

Well, I personaly think the blaster would get it on take off, mid-range, the blaster would be struggling, by six gear on the blaster I think it would have a steady gain on the yz. . .my .02
Also, how much was the 240 kit????? I plan on buying a keep blaster in the extremely near future and racing it, first thing I would do is buy the kit, heard so many good things.

haha. the YZ125 will definatly win, by alot. Those things SCREEM. It might be a better comparison between the blaster and the YZ85. Dont underestimate dirtbikes. They have a big Power to Weight ratio. Plus, the dirtbike engines are allways tuned more aggresivly.. i say dirtbike by about 5-6 lenths. Drag him and tell us how it goes.
