Default Raptor350 question

I've been looking for a new atv and my friend suggested the raptor350. I've heard some good and bad about it. Someone I've talked to said it sucked, and they didn't like it, while others said they really like it. Whats the good and bad of raptor350?

Default Raptor350 question

The good: Fun to ride, very dependable motor (this is the old Warrior), pretty quick but not the fastest quad in the world, great for trails, has reverse and electric start, and it's relatively inexpensive. I have a 660 and my wife rides a 350, but I like the 350 when I get a chance to ride it. It's fast enough for trail riding and is easy to play on.
The bad: air cooled, reverse is difficult at times, factory tires are just OK.

There are plenty of decent mods you can do to make it run better, but stock it's still a pretty good machine IMO.

Default Raptor350 question

I own a warrior and I love the bike. The raptor 350 is just a slightly improved version. If you put a couple hundred into the bike in mods it wakes it up a bit and gives me all the power I needed. So I say if you want the fastest out there, go spend 7k for a 450, then another 1k in upgrades and your ready to ride really really fast. Or buy a raptor 350 for about 4k spend 500 in mods and only get to ride really fast. I dont know about you but 60mph is pretty damn fast for me

Default Raptor350 question

I love mine but as 2raptors said reverse has a trick to it it can be tough but you will figure out the trick to it after a few rides and for being air cooled mine has never ran no were near hot .AND it has plenty of power on bottom for me i climb some pretty nasty hills and have had no problems its not the fastest on top end but im with azdunerat 60 is fast enuff and suspension seems pretty good to me rides great after i set the setting's to there tightest setting so all in all yeah i would say get one i know!!! you will love it .
