ok here is the deal i got a 05 yfz 450 and hate the stock tires what should i get. i want to race mx and gncc(cross country) and would be a great all around tire for RACING!! i love the look of the kenda klaws but how do they stack up against the razrs? and then there are the itp holeshot mxr4's? thanks for the opinions. i'm in bind because everyone who races gncc have razrs and everyone who races mx have handa klaws or the mxr4's?

well if it was me i would get the maxxis razrs.check out rockymountainatv. 6ply rears in 20 or 22 inch is 48dollars each tire.and 6ply front will run from 44 to 49 depending on what size you want.great prices plus the extra puncture protection of a 6ply.i have a set of 22s on the back of my raptor and i like them alot.

i was thinkin more of a smaller size so it wouldn't be bad for mx. i was thinkin 20's or maybe even 18's but most likly 20's. anyone have the klaws or the mxr4's that can give a opinion?

why a 4ply?

wouldn't a 6pl be too heavy for mx? and 4 pl is fine for what i do i don't go were there are rocks and stuff. just ruts and very rich soil

if your going to be running cross country i would get the 6ply. i dont think there that much heavier than a 4 ply.or if you have the money get set of 6ply for cross country and 2ply for mx racing.

yeah but which tires are we talkin about? i'm leaning towards the klaws and the holeshots mxr4's i don't thin kthe klaws or the mxr4s come in differnt ply ratings. i thin kit is just the razers

the maxxis razr rear with 4ply weigh in at 15.4 and the 6plys weigh in at 15.6. not much differnce at all in weight.

ok cool. i know ho wgreat the razr's do in gncc but how do they do in mx
