I am planning on snorkeling my Grizz...how are y'all attatching the pipe or hose to the air box? Does the snorkeling effect the performance of the machine...i.e., should I make one that i can just attatch when I know I will ride in deeper mud/water? This goes the same for the exhaust snorkel, how can I make one that is not permanent? If any of you have close up shots, can you email them to me ( nevin_bretz@yahoo.com )

well... u might have to change the jetting if u leave it on permanatly, and i dont think it will run good if u just put it on when u get to deep mud... just my opinion.

if you want to go into deeper water you'll also need to silicone all the wires, and snorkel the crankcase breathers. also the overflows on the carb.

Thanks for the tip....I looked under the plastic a while back and I know I have a lot to snorkel, thanx for the heads up though. I plan on exhaust first, however, when i jet the carb for that, how much will the new jetting interfere with the snorkel? Also, howmuch power will be robbed with the snorkel, or will the exhaust and new jetting make that loss an oversite?

well, if u re-jet it right, then there shouldnt be a great loss of power.there will be a little loss though.
