First mods on a Rap
#1
Hey, my cousin is 100% postive he is going to get a Raptor, first he is going to order some paddles, most likely sand stars, should he go 20x11x10 or 22x11x10. Also for the exhaust and filter, I told him Sparks makes a good exhaust for the price, and what airfilter ? Just a regular K&N and take the lid off, he doesnt want to take the box off, pain in the *** to wash it. What jetting would be, Sparks X-6 and K&N lid off ?

go with the 20 inch tires. exhaust wont matter. if you use a KN, get an outerwear for it.
jetting...thats tough.. every darn quad is different....let someone who knows whats up do it, then go have fun!

yeah get the 20s..sparks is an awesome pipe..for the filter i would get the pro design adaptor with k&n and outerwear. that way u can remove the lid completely..as for jetting it depends on altitude and mods and personal pref..im running 146/148 with stock pilot.

He should get some haulers, Sand Stars are great for a V Force, Gekos are terrible for a Rappy, 22" tires will prevent him from dragging his housing in deeper sand. Sparks is good, take the airbox off, when you wash it just put a plastic freezer bag over the filter, that'll keep it dry. Go with an L&A Airbox Eliminator, does away with the airbox and the boots from airbox to carbs. And of course jetting has way too many factors to take in account. Good luck
