A bud sent his stock Raotor carbs to a place in caly to be converted to alky. It has a pipe and no airbox. It wont run mid throttle to wide open just misses. We played with jets all day and it seems to not be getting enough alky. We took the jets out(mains) and still the same. If I put a plastic bag over the filter it runs alot better. Hows that? I cant go bigger than no jet at all. Any alky guys out there that can help? We are going to a big ride in a week and Ive tried all I can think of. Air screws and jetting. We are at sea level. Please any help would be great. Jet size in each or at least a place to start. Thanks

 

By the way I am running the stock pitcock on it. Going to drill it out tomorrow.

 

Nobody runs a Raptor on alky. Come on guys I need help

 

Sounds like you need to raise or lower the clip on the needle.
