is it a really nice thing having +2 a-arms and a +4 axle with new shocks on the 660? or is it almost pointless? thanks-Rider1169

Widening any quad IMO is one of the first things you should do if you want it competitive...It's a night and day difference in handling and looks good too..

IE: Look at before and after pics of my axle..

BEFORE

AFTER

And that's with stock tires and rims...imagine my offset chrome .190's on 18" turf tamers and chrome .190's front rims on 19" holeshot MX's that will be here in 3 days with will add another 2 inches...

i wanna get

+4 axle $200

+2 +1 a-arms $330

works triple rates with rezzies $515

i would hope it handles like a dream, i want to do that.
also, someone told me the wider you go, the slower u go. i dont see how u could loose much speed or accel at all. who knows.

Your a arms, axles, and shocks make a world of difference. I really did not reallize it until this fall when my buddy wanted to ride mine. My Raptor was a cadillac compared to his......We were riding in a corn field and his about beat me to death to the point of not being fun to ride.....Guess I'm a little spoiled. I would recommend these upgrades before any motor work.

Why the hell are you always joking?

And getting an extended axle doesn't slow you down, it lets you go faster in the turns and slides and you won't flip over like you used to..

what are you quoting me for???? I never said anything about it slowing you down. I agree with you 100% that you are much faster due to the quad being more stable.

i know u can corner faster, but i was told that u loose strait line speed. and like i said, i dont have a clue how that is possible, so i dont really belive it.

anyone hear good things about the works +2 tiple rates with rezzies?

I have the setup you are talking about less the rezzies on the works shocks. If you want to ride faster, get that setup. The quad feels glued to the ground compared to stock.
