Hes going into XC, not MX...I would get something comfortable, like the raptor or KFX/Z 400. The banshee/yfz are fast but the seats arent that comfortable for long rides. The 700 is a good long ride quad, but you will probably lose all your drag races, those things are HEAVY. The predator sounds like a good option for you as well, #5, since it already has the mods you might want and has good power. My advice would be to get #5 or #4

 

thats what i hate about these forums...the vforce IS SO UNDERRATED!! yeah its a heavy quad....that also handed my @$$ to me in a drag from bottom to top end, not to mention it jumps great, handles great, its an automatic and goes through more mud than any other sport quad.....

 

Maybe you got your *** handed to you because your stock. Ive raced PLENTY of modded 700s and they might get the holeshot, but I walk by them all the time. It might go through mud just fine, but he doesnt mention any mudding. Neither does he mention he will do a lot of jumping. He wants something fast, that handles good (aftermarket suspension) and is comfortable.

thanks fer all the replys now i just gotta talk my mom into helping me play maybe ill make a deal if i get striaght A's or about a 4.1 GPA she hasta buy me one im kinda leaning towards the predator just cuz i wont have to mod it at all and the only thing i gotta do is keep he chain tight and oil

 

The Pred is also a good quad.

 

what would u say would b a reasonible offer on the banshee i was guessing around $3000 what would u guyz say

I don't think the Banshee is going to have the suspension you are looking for.

 

The Pred(#5), just cause i like them a lot....LOL, and it seems to have the most mods....and i like mods, lol
