Default Grizzly coolant question.

I have an 03 Grizzly, and love it but when I ride it somewhat hard or when pushing snow, I can always smell antifreez. The temp light never comes on, but it is obviously getting hot. There has been a little antifreez come out from under the front rack plastic and run down by the shifter and also have found antifreeze in the little clear cleanout dust boot for the belt breather (located just infront of the motor on the left side). I have taken it to my dealer and they said there was nothing wrong with it , but I can't imagin this is normal on all Grizzlys. Any help would be appreciated.

Check to make sure your caps on tight but i think its normal my banshee also does the same thing when its warm, so i asked my dealer and they said it was normal and that it was just a little water comming out of the overflow not sure about the grizz but i dont think it a problem.

Default Grizzly coolant question.

I dont know about the 03 s but my 04 does not leak any coolant as of yet I never heard of this being a normal thing. Maybe it is over full in your coolant bottle and the overflow or vent up near your intake for the belt drive is sucking in the coolant or something like that. If this is the case your belt may also start slipping.

Default Grizzly coolant question.

Some of the earlier models had overheating problems and there was a recall to fix it. Vented side pannels I think. You may have one of those models. Try switching to Engine Ice. It does cool a little better tan regular coolant.
